Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash-Morgan, actor who has been a part of the SSC's board from 2011 is the Co-Artistic Director Founding of the recently formed theatre firm Speech of Fire. She was the Artistic Director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 through the year 2019. The producer was also, costume/set designer, composer/musician and text coach for SSC when she was its Artistic Director. While she would usually be the leader of her ensembles Her first directorial role was in SSC King Lear. Markie Post......................Markie Post is a noted American actress known for her roles as the public defender Christine Sullivan in NBC's sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABC's drama series The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBS's sitcom Hearts Afire. The other roles she has played include an array of game show appearances. Daughter of poet Marylee Post and scientist Richard F. Post she was raised along with two children in Walnut Creek. Las Lomas High School in Los Angeles was her high school that she chose to attend. She participated as a cheerleader. She was briefly a student at Pomona College and graduated from Lewis & Clark College in Oregon. Post was previously married to Stephen Knox. She has been married since 1982 to Michael A. Ross, an actor and writer, with who she has two daughters. She is a wonderful actress as well as the perfect mother and wife. Post has been a source of inspiration for many who work in Hollywood.
